The news!
This just in – Honda has been honored with five Kelley Blue Book 2025 Consumer Choice awards, more than any other brand! Among those honors include “Best Overall Brand,” “Most Trusted Brand” and “Best Value Brand.” And as if that weren’t enough, the automaker also was dubbed America’s “Best In-Vehicle Experience Brand,” and “Best Performance Brand.”
Overall, Honda has raked in a whopping 37 Kelley Blue Book Consumer Choice Awards, including nine “Best Overall Brand” honors in the past 12 years and 11 “Best Value Brand” wins in the last 11 years.
They were noted for key brand attributes that both excite and attract consumers, basing their awards on consumer automotive perception data from Kelley Blue Book’s Brand Watch study. This study tracks the brand and its model perception, tapping into more than 12,000 in-market-new-vehicle shoppers annually on their website, KBB.com. Considered an extremely comprehensive study, it offers keen insight into how shoppers see the brand, and what they consider important factors in their buying decision. It also captures brand/model familiarity and loyalty among new-car shoppers.
It is not a surprise that Honda keeps earning award after award, considering that its reach is vast and its product second to none. The automaker offers a full line of clean, safe, fun and connected vehicles through more than 1,000 independent Honda dealers in the United States. Among their award-winning lineup is household names like the Civic and Accord, CR-V, Passport, Prologue and Pilot SUVs. Then there is the Ridgeline pickup and the ever-popular and family friendly Odyssey minivan. Add to that an electrified lineup, which happens to account for more than a quarter of total sales last year, and the choices runneth over! From an all-electric Prologue SUV, hybrid-electric Accord, CR-V and Civic and fuel-cell-electric CR-V, e:FCEV, the future is now! Also Honda lovers can keep their eyes out for a hybrid Prelude poised to join the lineup later this year!
It has been for more than 40 years that Honda has been producing automobiles, operating eight major auto manufacturing facilities in the country. The impressive stats don’t stop there – In
2024, nearly all of the Honda vehicles sold in the United States were made in North America, with about 60 percent made in America, using domestic and globally sourced parts.
“Once again, Honda leads in this year’s Consumer Choice Awards, nearly sweeping all of the non-luxury categories and taking home more award wins than any other automaker for 2025, while Porsche wins Best Overall Luxury Brand for the first time in 10 years,” Vanessa Tan, senior research and market intelligence manager at Cox Automotive, said. “Other big wins include Toyota reclaiming the Best Overall Truck Brand this year, after Ram won in 2024, and Lexus taking its first Best Overall EV/Hybrid Brand win in this relatively new category.”
It is safe to say that Honda is truly winning over consumers, and Kelley Blue Book’s recognition just solidifies that! Sweeping all the non-luxury brand categories was done with ease, making Honda the clear choice among motorists past and present!
