More on the Ridgeline….

Perfect to haul your family on their next road trip or lug heavy loads, the Ridgeline has it all! In fact, despite its car-like unibody, there is not a towing task it cannot handle. It’s a midsize truck that is everyday friendly and leading in its class.

Practical without being huge, the Ridgeline is praised for its segment-best ride and handling, both of which are a direct result of the unibody construction. This truck is an example of refinement that only Honda can bring, and has a quality that is enviable among its competitors

For 2019, the Ridgeline is chock full of clever features, while presenting superior handling and a spacious interior. Its cabin is sheer comfort with some updates in the new year. Those include a second USB port in the RT, Sport and RTL models. The RTL and RTL-T versions add a power sunroof and power-sliding rear window, features previously found on range-topping trims.

Its interior materials are considered above average, with various trim levels featuring leather, fold-down armrests, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and four-way-power-adjustable passenger seats. Its rear passenger area features a completely flat floor with seat bottoms and support frames that fold up to allow for maximum cargo space.

The Ridgeline is known for its towing capability and innovative cargo box, which has an in-bed trunk as well as incorporating into it an available audio system. Built as a crew cab with a 5.3-foot bed, the Ridgeline holds great appeal and satisfies today’s motorists’ many needs. It has the impressive designation of earning 10Best honors three years in a row.

The sole 280-hp 3.5-liter V-6 powertrain that makes 262 lb-ft of torque and has a six-speed automatic transmission is a fitting combination. That coupled with an engine that feels smooth and a throttle response that is receptive, the Ridgeline is extremely competent.

An untraditional pick-up in many ways, the Ridgeline presents minimal body lean in corners and when it comes to small bumps on the road, they are barely noticeable.

It holds the title of the most fuel-efficient six-cylinder engine in its class and when tested on the highway, exceeded its rating by a whopping 3 mpg.

In the area of safety, the Ridgeline has earned a five-star crash test from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and is the only pickup truck that has the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety designation of Top Safety for 2018.

Quick, smooth, capable, the Ridgeline is the ultimate crossover, complete with car-like qualities and the strength of a modern-day pick up. If you value ride quality above all else, then this Honda is right for you!
